The current Covid-19 situation in New Zealand has meant that the Council of Assembly has made a decision that this year’s General Assembly will move to an online only format. These are exceptional times, and the decision is not one that has been made lightly. Council of Assembly acknowledges that this decision will impact on a number of people, including those who have already begun making their plans for attending Assembly.

What You Need to Know:

If you are a Commissioner who has not yet registered for Assembly, please email the Assembly Co-ordinator, Phil King, so that your registration can be completed. After this  link will be sent so that you can access the video feed for the online Assembly.

If you have already made travel arrangements to Christchurch, we ask that you hold off on arranging for a refund or making changes to your travel until you hear from Assembly Business Workgroup.

If you have already paid your Assembly fees, the Assembly Coordinator will be in touch to arrange a refund.

More details regarding the online Assembly, including information on how long business sessions will be, how voting will occur and training for those who require it will be advised by the Assembly Business Workgroup in the next week.

As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Assembly Coordinator in the first instance
